WORKSHOPS - a selection
THIS IS HOW THOSE WHO SUCCEED DIGITALLY DO
The journalism that is emerging in the era of digitalization requires extensive changes in both working methods and journalism. We have looked at what those who have been most successful with their digital journalism do and during the workshop we will go through twelve success factors.
LOWER THE THRESHOLDS FOR MOVING IMAGES
What kind of video content generates engagement, and how to fit the production of moving content into an already stressful editorial day? The workshop focuses on smart working methods and the motto: Keep it simple!
HEADING AND ANGLE WORKSHOP
The importance of the headline in a digital context cannot be overstated. Here we go through the most important tools to ensure your journalism gets the attention it deserves. The headline acts as a contract with the reader.
ENERGIZE THE EDITORIAL MEETINGS
Meetings have always been important in editorial offices, perhaps never more so than today. Yet we see many examples of meetings without purpose and direction. In several news rooms, even the morning meeting has been canceled because "it was so bad". Here you will gain new strength to lead effective meetings.
WORKSHOP - TAILOR-MADE
We can quickly put together a workshop based on the topics you currently want to explore in more depth, perhaps as part of an editorial day or training. Get in touch and we'll be happy to come up with a tailored proposal!

PROCESS SUPPORT - for faster development
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
It may involve creating a completely new organizational structure to meet changing needs and behavioral patterns among users. Or it may require new and more efficient ways of working to stay competitive when new players challenge. We support management teams in strategic choices and engage the entire organization.
TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Editorial teams, management teams and other teams need to be continuously developed and challenged, both when the participants in the group are new to each other and when the team is stuck and needs to re-examine itself to gain new energy and clarity. Sometimes new goals create friction and conflict in a team, which may need support in its path forward.
VALUE-BASED WORK
What are our core values, what rules of conduct do we agree on, how similar or different are we and should we be? Being able to answer these questions is crucial to the success of all groups. But above all: Ensuring that shared values become a natural part of the group's DNA and become embedded in everyday life.
INNOVATION PROCESSES
It's easy to say "We need to think innovative", but extremely difficult to break free from habitual patterns and behaviors. Here we help with effective methods, tools and practical exercises for collaborative innovation. We have developed our own version of "design sprints" for the editorial environment.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAM - for rookies and veterans
NEW AS EDITORIAL CHIEF
Our version of "New as a Manager" is aimed at those who have been an editorial supervisor/manager for a short time. We offer concrete tools adapted to manage everyday life in the editorial office.
During the 5 course days we will cover, among other things:
-
Coach journalists
-
Feedback on products
-
Team development
-
Lead editorial meetings
PERSONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR EXPERIENCED MANAGERS
The training is offered to experienced managers from across the media company for in-depth insight into personal strengths and areas for development in the leadership role. During the training, each participant completes a so-called IDI profile , a digital tool that increases understanding of how others perceive you as a leader in your current role. We are certified IDI facilitators and have used the tool both in training and in the development of management teams.
THE SPEARHEAD OF CHANGE
We offer project managers, department managers and key people tasked with driving development in the media company cutting-edge training in four modules and based on concrete development projects that the participants themselves are tasked with implementing. The training serves as a practical guide with, among other things, the following elements:
-
Project management for innovation - breaking through established patterns
-
How to communicate an idea or vision
-
From words to action in working groups and the importance of quick successes
-
Dealing with resistance along the way

COACHING - individuals and groups
INDIVIDUAL COACHING
Having the opportunity to meet with your own coach regularly creates space for in-depth reflection on both challenges and successes in your professional role. We work "action-oriented", which means that a large focus is on possible action options and your own choices in the next step. A coaching package of 5 meetings over six months can make a big difference.
GRUPPHANDLEDNING
Starting mentoring groups within the company is both a powerful and cost-effective way to support necessary movement forward. In our approach, groups of 8-12 participants meet for half a day a month in a structured form of peer coaching, where participants support each other in handling challenges and dilemmas in their own role. The method was originally developed by, among others, Professor Christer Sandahl at the Karolinska Institute.
